Studio 38 - Artist - David Fanning



	BIOGRAPHY David Fanning was born in Mancheter in 1968. He graduated from Mancheter Metropolitan University in 1994 and has since worked as a freelance scenic artist and propmaker. In the last 3 years, he has returned to creating his own work from Studio38 in Manchester. Most of his work is inspired by Manchester but he has also painted the skylines of London and Leeds on a commission basis.		STATEMENT "My work deals with memory, recent history and regeneration of the city and our relationship with it. Using images of the Manchester Skyline as it goes through massive changes in its deconstruction and construction, my style is simplistic, almost cartoon-like; a stark contrast to the complexities of living in the modern city."
